Hi folks! Here's some bits of #content I've consumed recently. Sorry these reading lists aren't as long as they used to be, I'm sure you understand why! Hopefully they are less overwhelming though but still a bit of something for everyone 🤞🏼

The Diminishing Returns of Calendar Culture - there was so much in this article that I want to come back to and she links to many other articles that I have just open in tabs on my phone ready to read the next time I’m in need of something to do. There’s a lot of specific examples about academia but the general stuff about the use of digital calendars and power was fascinating. Apparently, power dynamics are at play EVERYWHERE. And all the stuff about monochronic understanding of time, and “crip time” which I definitely want to read more about. It’s a long read but if you’re into theorising about productivity/organisation stuff it’s a good one.

Ranking Taylor Swift’s BEST Choruses !! (SO hard) - another one from Chats and Reacts (have I subscribed? no. do they keep popping up in my home page and I prioritise every Taylor Swift video they make above my neglected watch later playlist full of videos from people I’m actually subscribed to? yes.)

You should start a vlog channel. Here’s why.  - I mean technically “More Hannah” is as close to a vlog channel that I will ever have. But in my darkest most overwhelmed woe is me youtube moments the idea of just vlogging my life and that being it seems really appealing. And then I remember that if my full time thing is vlogging then I’m just vlogging myself vlogging and it’s completely unbearable and unrelatable content, it pains me to think about and it’s everything I hate. But of course I still do love me the odd vlog here and there!

Relationship Therapist Ranks Disney Romances - we love Cinema Therapy! Although what I really need is a ranking of ALL Disney romances not just the ones they picked for this video.

Movies | Full Episode | Bluey - so it would seem that when showing Rowan some Bluey episodes in the car, as he was grabbing my phone to put in his mouth he subscribed to the Bluey YouTube channel so now my subfeed is full of Bluey content 😅 (omg the fake movie in this episode is HILARIOUS)

Book 7, Ep. 5 | Resurrection with Matt Potts - ok was not expecting to learn so much about the Bible and different theological interpretations of Jesus’ resurrection. The connection with how Deathly Hallows deals with resurrection is really interesting, in the ways it goes hard but then in the ways it doesn’t quite go hard enough (aka Harry should have stayed dead). Near the beginning they’re talking about the Greek/Hebrew word for resurrection used in the Bible and how it quite literally means “to get up” but then they didn’t talk about how that links to “erect” in resurrECTION. Maybe it’s not important.

The Real Housewives Empires: MLMs, Scams, And Fake Girlbosses - oh my goodness, this is a whole world I knew nothing about. Do any of you watch the real housewives shows? Did you know about all this? It is wild.
