About the candle thing: it's called nose blindness. It's not this candle specifically, it's everyone. Unless a scent is VERY strong, after a while our brains just stop taking note of it. Like how you don't really notice the smell of your home until you've been away for a couple of days and come back. Candles always smell stronger when they are blown out, I'm not exactly sure why. But, if you want to smell the candle more, I'd recommend giving it a rest every few hours. Blowing it out then lighting it again a bit later to give your brain a change to reset. Or switching what candle you are using so it feels new and different.
