Hi folks,

I recently attended a YouTube virtual event and there were some chats about livestreaming on YouTube and it's been getting me curious and thinking... also Evelyn From The Internets recent livestreams have been really inspiring as an example of how to do livestreams on YouTube.

So I wanted to ask you, if I started experimenting with livestreams on YouTube (probably on More Hannah to begin with), what would you like to see/not like to see in order to not take away from the value of our monthly streams together??

Thank you as always for your support and input as we figure things out and grow together!

I am really enjoying what Safiya & Tyler have, really found the google map game they did very fun :D it could also be more of a «cook with me», «get ready with me» type of stream :D or a «Hannah try …» sort of thing. Some light fun :D and I am also always open for watching games, like that puzzle game you did that time a while ago :D

The best way to differentiate the value of patron vs public live streams would be interactivity - inviting (some) patrons into a zoom call. I do weekly livestreams on Zoom. It's possible to have some people on zoom, and the rest watching on you tube (you can send the zoom feed to YouTube live via RTMP using the custom stream feature of zoom to enter the YouTube "stream key"). it's a little confusing to configure, but once set up it's easy to replicate.

happy to send you info on how to do this or walk you through setup if you like.
