Changes to my Patreon coming soon! (Patreon)

Hi all! 

My Patreon has gone through lots of changes and rebirths over the years and since the last one in August/September last year I have been loving the community we've built here and I only want to build it further. 

You may have seen recently I was asking you in polls what other benefits you would like and so I've been working on this revamp behind the scenes. Figuring out what realistically makes sense for me in terms of added workload, what you would want and what is good for our community.

I'm writing this post to give you fair warning of the changes coming so you can plan ahead a little if need be.

THE CHANGES - WEDNESDAY 29TH MAY 

No more $1 tier
I'm getting rid of the $1 tier so the new lowest tier will be $3. This is because of all the fees for folks who pledge $1 I actually don't see much of that. Fees include: Patreon's fee, processing fees, PayPal fee (because I'm not based in the USA). 

What you need to do
If you want to continue getting benefits e.g. access to The Common Room, our private discord, you will need to join the $3 tier. At $3 per month you get access to my Patreon-only feed for updates, behind the scenes & polls, early access to videos & access to The Common Room. 

New tiers!
$3 per month - same as it is now.
$5 per month - the monthly reading list but there will also be a private thread in The Common Room for us to discuss! AND *new thing* you will get early & ad-free access to my new podcast!
$10 per month - monthly private livestream!
$25 per month - producer credits at the end of videos!
$69 per month - just for fun :P no extra rewards here but you still get everything else & my thanks! 

*obviously with the higher tier rewards you also get everything below it* 

What you need to do
You can only move to $3 or $5 tiers now but if you would like to join at any of the higher ones you will have to wait until Wednesday 29th May when I officially add them to my Patreon. If you are currently at $3 or $5 and you want to stay there, you don't have to do anything!

If you pledge an amount without attaching yourself to a specific tier you don't get the rewards, you must be connected to a tier. If after 29th you're still at $1 you will stop getting access to rewards because that tier will no longer exist. 

SURPRISE - PRESENT FOR YOU <3
Make sure you check back here on 29th May so have a look at the new tiers but also because there's a surprise! A little present from me to you for all your support over the years! I AM SO CLOSE TO SPILLING THE BEANS BECAUSE I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT IT BUT I WILL CONTROL MYSELF.
