Marathon, one month on.. (Patreon)

It was a wild coincidence that The Act Man released a video about "The Rise and Fall of Arena Shooters" the day I released my Marathon video . In that video he acknowledges Marathon and Unreal, but only in a brief, almost forced way, and then goes on to make even more errors on the history of the genre.

Backlash was swift against his poor research. Reaction videos by viewers younger than him, lambaste him for brushing off Marathon as a Doom Clone instead of the important and ground-breaking game that it was. That was good to see. However, Act Man does not admit to his mistakes and his fans tell him to ignore the criticism. Imagine that.

Reaction to my video has been very positive, and it was great reading and answering comments. Marathon was fun to make, but I'm glad to be working on a hardware video again. 

I found a certain Mac locally for only $40. Although functional, the case was terrible, but he offered to buy-back the case for $20 once I took out the parts so that he could put his own PC inside. Good deal!
