Yay, so cool! Keanu has played so many John characters! In fact, the character that started his action movie career (he used to play doofus stoner comedy characters before) was Johnny Utah in Point Break (1991)! If you haven't, you need to watch it, it's a really fun campy summer action packed one. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who saw Keanu's action potential before anyone else, and we should always thank her for it. Bigelow was married to James Cameron back then, and she actually was directing Point Break at the same time Cameron was directing Terminator 2, and I would give my left kidney to have been able to spy on their dinner table conversations that year!
