I love this Ep. Damon Damon just love him. We see he was so caring towards elena and wanted to anyhow save his bro even if it meant he was in danger with his own life. Love the way he stood up to Fredrick. Amazing teamwork by Ric and Damon they did look badass and we also notice after Ric hits Damon, Damon did not fight back he took the hit, i know there still is a very long road ahead for Damon to improve but its small steps we see in this episode. I am with Matt here he just got to know his sister is dead yes it may seem bad how they showed us but we need to remember he has a stronger bond with Elena so he couldn't control himself and he cried looking at elena and hugged her, Elena understands this too. I love Caroline but in this situation i think she needs to understand and put herself in his shoes. If i were in Matt's place i would probably react the same way.. this is just what i feel.

And once again Damon saved his brother. When Stefan is in danger Damon gets in big brother mode "I can tease my brother but do not dare to hurt him or I kill you". e would have risk his own life without hesitation for him. Ther was no way that he could get him without killing the lady, and in any case the lady owenr of the house wouldn't have lasted long, being the only human around so many vampires, non vervained and use for feeding. So Damon does what he had to do, to get in, b ecause to him his brother life is worth more than anything, the lady life, and his own. As Elena's life. That's Damon he does the dirty work nobody wants to do, to get things done, and get bad judgement for it, he knows, that is why he took Alaric punch in the bar without reacting, he is used it as he said, "everybody hates me". Alaric and Damon is such a badass team. It is good that Vicky's body was recovered, so they could moarn her an move on,. Like Jeremy still stack in the past, making bad decisions wanting to turn for Vicky. For Elena too , not having to lie about it to Matt and for Matt himself. He deserve to know an buried his sister properly. Matt character is such a good person, with a crazy sister, now dead, with an idiot as a mother, and and an absentee father. He is alone, at seventeen paying for bills, going to school, having rich friends he can't keep up with,. But he is rich in frienships, him and Elena are best friends since childhood, They have been their emotional support for each other since ever. So it is only logic that Matt, rely on Elena support to unload his emotions. Caroline has been around , but not tat much in the picture of close friends as Elena, Jeremy and Tyler are for Matt. Obviously they are in a reationship but is too early for them to expect Matt to be that close to Caroline as he feels with Elena, with all the history they have. But at the same time is understandable how Caroline feels, because it's her characteristc as teenager to feel insecure, especially since the relationship is still new.
