Light-heavyweight, Bruno Lopes (11-1) vs. Marcos Brigagão (17-6):
Lopes is coming off such a terrible performance on the contender series last season. Going into that fight he had so much hype but that was put out fast. He could get some traction back defending his title. Brigagão also lost on the contender series back in 2019. Since that Brigagão has went 6-5. He is the definition of a journeyman jobber. Even though Lopes is coming off a bad loss this would be a. Even worse loss. I look for Lopes to get an early knockout. I still have high hopes for Lopes and I think his superior striking will lead him to victory here.

Lightweight, Anderson Ferreira (18-4) vs. Samuel Silva (11-41):
The last few years Ferreira has quietly been killing it. Another win here he should absolutely get an LFA title shot. Although he won his last three fights Silva is a bum. Nothing he does is notable. The problem with Ferreira is he's chinny. Outside of that Ferreira has a clear skill advantage. Ferreira does a good job using his kickboxing and striking on the outside. He just gets hit but the guy is a very good striker. I expect Ferreira to get an early knockout because Silva is chinny too. Ferreira is getting built up very well in PFL.

Bantamweight, Fernando Laurenço (17-3) vs. Rafael Pereira (10-4):
There isnt hardly any tape on Pereira to get any read. It looks like he's a striker with a Muay Thai background but throws more flashy stuff. The problem with him is he's fighting one of the most seasoned prospects out of Brazil. Laurenço has won his last eleven and on the cusp of a UFC shot. He's a better BJJ fighter than anything so this is a favorable fight for him. Pereira could catch Laurenço with something crazy but I can't say he's a good striker outside of being dangerous. Pereira is going from fighting almost .500 fighters to Laurenço is a rough go.

Bantamweight, Apollo Gomes (9-1) vs. Vinicius Pires (8-1):
Pires has some hype but I don't see it. He's really good at jiu-jitsu and is nonstop with trying to get the takedown punching his way in. As he is good in those areas he does slow quickly and his stand-up isn't too good. Gomes is also a BJJ guy that's really good in that area. His only loss is because he got caught in a guillotine. He's not great on the feet either but he's light on his feet and throws good output. He's the better striker in this fight and on the mat it's close. I give the edge to Pirez in the grappling and that's what I think matters in this fight. This fight is close but I just think Pires is at a higher level.

Middleweight, Marco Tulio (10-1) vs. Cemey dos Santos (6-4):
Tulio was one of the few ones who won last season on the contender series but didn't get a contract. It wasn't a great performance so he's getting this fight to showcase himself. Santos has a crappy record and this is his first fight in nearly four years. If Tulio doesn't knock this guy out in one round then it's like a loss to him.

Strawweight, Lany Silva (4-0) vs. Naizi Cantanhede (6-0):
I've been on Lany Silva ever since she was an amateur. She's an excellent prospect with a lot of promise. Her striking is top notch and you can see the background she has in kickboxing. After watching Cantanhede nothing stands out. She's a striker as well but throws single strike, slow, and flat-footed. Silva is on a much higher level than Cantanhede and she should dominate this fight.

Light-heavyweight, Miguel Porto (4-1) vs. Kevin Christian (6-2):
I've known of Porto for a bit and he's just not good. He's got power but no technique and very sloppy. He's a muscle bound guy so his cardio isn't gonna hold up. I just can't find a thing about this Christian guy with zero tape. This is his first fight in five years. As much as I don't like Porto this fight is all him.

Bantamweight, Nicoly Pedroza (4-0) vs. Andreyna Rocha (5-4):
This is a setup fight for Pedroza. Rocha is a near .500 fighter. She's been finished in all her losses. Pedroza does struggle against the cage but can at least keep the fight upright. Rocha is gonna get lit up on the feet. Pedroza is in her realm in space throwing the straight punches, one-twos, and a lot of kicks. Rocha hasn't shown anything notable to think she can beat Pedroza.

Lightweight, Marcos Bruno (6-2) vs. Juan Pablo Vieira (6-0):
This is a tough fight to call. Vieira is the undefeated fighter but to me I'm not sold on him at all. Bruno is a power puncher who throws everything into what he puts out. He just lacks with putting it together and he lacks output. He also comes in so recklessly that he takes a lot of damage. I'm siding with Vieira because he can use his length, output, and ground game. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruno knocked him out but he'd have to fight with more aggression than usual.

Heavyweight, Talisson Teixeira (4-0) vs. Arthur Fonseca (2-1):
I'm so happy Teixeira is finally getting a fight in LFA. I believe I was the first one to give Teixeira any exposure. This 24-year-old is towering at six-foot-eight. He’s already a BJJ black belt and is fighting under and is training under a high-level boxing coach. It’s very nice to see a guy the size of Teixeira know how to use his reach. He throws long jabs and chopping leg kicks while being able to snipe his opponent at any time. Fonseca is being sent to slaughter. Watching what's available there isn't much to go off. He just looks like another overweight Brazilian heavyweight. Teixeira by murder early in round one.

Strawweight, Gabriela Fujimoto (3-0) vs. Sabrina Oliveira (5-2):
I'm hoping LFA  actually streams this because I wanna watch Fujimoto. There is no footage of her pro fights but I have good connections in Brazil that tell me she's a promising talent. From everything I've heard and seen in the clips is that her jiu-jitsu is legit. She's a good submission grappler and very aggressive. Oliveira is a step up but for her she's lost both times she fought someone with a winning record. I'm blindly picking Fujimoto but I'm confident.

Welterweight, Reginaldo Junior (7-1) vs. Gustavo Henrique (3-2):
Not sure why Henrique is getting a fight for LFA since he's known for fixing his fights. They are doing Junior a favor with this one since he lost his last LFA fight. Junior is a strong submission grappler. He's a threat from on top or the bottom. Junior is a power puncher who has decent movement. His wrestling has looked pretty good as well so I think he can do whatever he wants in this fight.

Flyweight, Beatriz Consuli (2-0) vs. Carol Foro (2-0):
LFA is continuing to build Consuli slowly. She went 12-1 and was the IMMA European and World champion as an amateur. The only thing lacking from Consuli is being able to finish her fights. Of fourteen career wins Consuli only has two finishes. She's more of a grappling displaying good control and solid jiu-jitsu. Foro is nothing outside of a bottomfeeder in the division. It's a showcase fight for Consuli.

Strawweight, Aieza Bertolso (2-0) vs. Fabrizia Ketlinn (1-0):
Bertolso is also getting a showcase fight. Saying that I will say Ketlinn has a lot of unknowns. She's a muay thai champion and has competed in boxing and grappling. The problem is she's going against one of the most promising female prospects. Bertolso is a gold medal winner of the IMMAF Senior tournament championship and was the 2021 IMMAF European and World Champion. Bertolso has a good size for the division, and it’s easy to be impressed with every aspect. Her grappling is her strong suit, but she’s fully capable anywhere the fight goes. This is a fight for her.
