Nazruloev may have got a standing TKO in his last fight but that's not where he excels at. On the feet, he's just too wild and uncomfortable. It's all good because he's such an excellent wrestler. Nazruloev can wrestle at a high quality the entire fight. He usually excels in the chain-wrestling. He's good at getting in on a leg, adjusting, and getting the fight down. Nazruloev has a strong base and that's helped him in both offensive and defensive wrestling. Defensive wrestling is a big factor for Nazruloev. As soon as it looks like he's in a bad sport he's scrambling and pushing to get into an offensive position—high-level wrestling.
