Gamlet Aslanov is a stud at 135 to watch out for. He has IMMAF experience as an amateur but has excelled more as a professional. He hails from Almaty, Kazakhstan, and has an undefeated 4-0 record.

Aslanov hasn't shown to much of his striking but I've liked what I saw. He uses feints well, and sticks on the outside well with his jab and kicks. He'll use a lot of feints to create openings for takedowns or set up a big shot. He does hold a knockout from a flying knee.

Aslanov does such a good job of setting up his takedowns. He'll blend his shots off feints. He will strike his way into a takedown. He will also time takedowns perfectly when guys are coming forward on him. Aslanov can chain wrestle when needed. Often you will see him get in underneath the hips and slam guys to the mat as well as suplexing guys. The wrestling from Aslanov is legit.

A homage to his wrestling is his ground game. Aslanov is a strong grappler once he gets the fight grounded. He's actively landing fight-ending ground and pound softening up his opponents. His positional grappling is good and he controls every scramble. Even in the moments on his back, he knows how to scramble to where he's in an offensive position. Aslanov is the real deal and I like him a lot even in a stacked division.
