In this piece, I will take a young/raw/inexperienced prospect. I'll break down the said fighter and give my prediction on the career trajectory of the highlighted fighter, Eduard Martirosyan.

Russia has countless young prospects with similar records as Martirosyan so it's easy for some to slip through the clips. Martirosyan has only three pro-fights but has a lot of combat experience not documented. Martirosyan is a 2022 hand-to-hand combat world champion. He's also a European champion and a two-time Russian champion. The 23-year-old trains out of an underrated gym in Russia, The Forge that has a lot of legit fighters.

Throughout just three fights Martirosyan has shown a lot. Where he needs the most work is tightening up his defense. He tends to drop his hands and it gets worse as the fight goes as he starts to get tired. For a primary striker, Martirosyan is well-rounded. I've been impressed with his wrestling. He'll lull guys into his striking and time an entry and can create snap downs and chain wrestle well. Jiu-jitsu is still green but does very well with ground and pound attacking to the body and head and throwing some good elbows in there. He's actually spent more time on the mat than he has on the feet.

I really like his striking outside oh his hands being held low. Martirosyan does some sneaky good work on the inside with knees up the middle and a cheeky uppercut he throws. I love the way he throws his hands following his kicks thrown. He can throw things like a left head kick and left hook at the same time but attack from both sides. Martirosyan throws always more than one punch at a time and is always using different angels

I'm not all the way sold because he has yet to prove himself. Although he looks promising but has still yet to fight someone with a winning record. I'd like to see him go to ACA Young Eagles where he can fight other young prospects to build up a resume. Once there for a few fights, he could graduate to the ACA main roster and make a name for himself there. He's only 23 so he has a lot of time to prove himself.
