2023-03-24 07:32:14 the end message of the video is harsh, but i can relate to that. i grew pretty much in the same environment - son of a Soviet officer, spent my childhood in semi-closed military towns in Germany and Belarus. these places were in fact extremely cozy, because soviet commisionned officers were a tight, sort of educated and wealthy community. at the same time i have always to remind myself that these communities were an instrument of violence & global threat. Its a hard pill to swallow knowing your childhood (and your relatives) are all connected into something undeniably evil and it does a number on many people. No wonder the mod author is that productive - he needs to put down a very very strong cognitive dissonance
