Dub for Pokemon was okay for a time for me until I discovered how much of a different tone the Japanese version had, same for Yu-Gi-Oh!. Think it was in 2004 when I finally saw the Japanese versions for both and saw how much content was changed that I couldn't go back to the dubbed versions knowing that they were watered-down. I still watch certain anime dubbed, but it heavily depends on how it's presented nowadays, especially if it gets censored.
