The red sky seasons had some weird stuff, for some reason the turtles were going through puberty which allowed them to turn into hulks. Good reactions.

Yeah this season is a collection of multiple adventures and arcs that are all kind of their own separate timelines which is why you might see different consistencies, like the homeless guy who got mutated in Kavaxas' arc who goes back to normal in these Worlds Collide episodes. In a way they are more episodic like you said which is why the season's named Tales of the TMNT. The next four episodes yall watch are some of the best of this season with a classic TMNT favorite side character and one really cute backstory episode 😉 so excited for yall to see it!
