Glad you enjoyed the 1st episode, the show is a spin-off to the super sentai franchise as a whole as why you see akarenger and the gorengers a lot, it's not a remake as I saw you trying to tell if it was or not the show is 100% new with references from gorenger in the show to celebrate the 45th anniversary of super sentai aswell as the current airing sentai of the time kikai sentai zenkaiger
