So while Kamen Rider Decade was a celebration for the Heisei Era reaching 10 Years, Kamen Rider Kiva (so far) seemed to have kicked off the tradition of having the 9th rider in that phase more heavily reference the first rider of it. So before Decade, we had Kamen Rider Kiva referencing Kuuga by having four basic forms that operates a lot like Kuuga's four basic forms... With the colors matching. Here we got Build(the 9th Rider of the Heisei Phase 2 Era) whose Mix-and-Match and Left-Half/Right-Half is a reference to Kamen Rider W(The first Rider of Heisei Phase 2). Honestly this is a series that I'm just going to let the show do all of it's talking for it's quality, since I do feel like it's one of the best. It also gets pretty dark for a kids show, so at this point you just gotta ask yourself... ARE YOU READY?!
