Okay so this was meant for the last reaction but Battle Brain Kedora is a creation of Ken Ishikawa for a one shot called Mazinger Z: Relic of Terror which episode 16 adapted really close to a one to one. Then on to this reaction, first slight spoiler the one in episode 1 and the start of 2 is Ankoku Daishogun or Great General of Darkness who is a separate character to Hades who's title is often Great Emperor of Darkness and who never appears again in this show. Next Tetsuya Tsurugi is the MC of Mazinger Z's sequel Great Mazinger in which Tetsuya pilots the titular Great Mazinger to fight Ankoku Daishogun and the Battle Beasts of Mycenea, this is also the only time Garada and Doublas have the origin of being anything but mindless Kikaiju but not the first time for this design as it is one of the Phantom Kikaiju that appeared in the Mazinkaiser OVA.
