Let's talk about Flash, let me know your thoughts. (Patreon)

What's up guys, I'm making this post so we can talk more about everything it's happening to Flash these days. As you guys know, it stopped working in some browsers, but gladly there are yet many ways to play Flash files.

I've been working with Flash for many years now, and it really fits nicely for a project like Pussymon. The freedom to resize the game without losing quality and the size of the files are some of the reasons I really enjoy developing my games in Flash.

For now, there are still many ways to run flash files and I believe it always gonna be this way, after all, there are so many amazing flash games available on the web that would be lost otherwise. But anyway, I want you to know that with or without Flash, there's yet much more to come in the Pussymon Project, there are so many things I still intend to bring until the final version and many more mechanics, scenes, characters, and story to be revealed. In the worst case, I will make new and older episodes with another software and, develop the final version somewhere else, however, for now, I believe Flash is still fine.

To run Flash files you can download the debug player available on Adobe's site (just search Flash Player Offline on Google and you will find it). There's also Ruffle, a software that can run Flash files offline and in your browser and, I believe Newgrounds will also find a fix for their player sooner or later. I'm sure there are other ways to run flash files, but I believe these are the easiest ones. My big thanks to Deth Kiler, DrNearo, Ninrutu and, Um Baros for their help in previous posts.
