Big 'ol Project Update (May 1st, 2024) (Patreon)

Hey there, peeps.

Want to drop a massive update on things so we can all stay on the same page. I notice I'll always put things off, if given the chance, so I'm pushing myself to get it all out right now. Hahaha.

I have a couple more from last month that I wanted to do, so I'll sketch some out and let you guys decide which ones get tackled. I really want to start implementing that method since there are so many good suggestions.

I had the urge to pick up an old project from last year, one I'd let stagnate. (I'd had a heck of a depressive slump last year, hence you'll notice nothing came out in 2023...) I was surprised to find that I'd done some really good work on that one, and then just left it?? lol. Well recently, I finished the first half of the Edwardian GTS project from last Spring on my spare time. I'd like to get that out after BB3 since so much of it is completed. It wouldn't take much to get everything else done, and I can focus on the SFX/Layout of everything until then. I find that really helps the process a lot and makes the final result really pop.

Quick note that the Kim Pine animation is also near its end. The frames I have done are really impressive to me. I've not done such impressive jiggle physics before. Haha. At any rate, I'll start wrapping that up when I get more legwork on BB3 out.

Now then. Onto BB3. I've been putting work into it. Patreon's new rules on CNC are surprisingly unaware. I'll have to probably add a mid scene between BB2 and BB3 that takes care of that so this account doesn't get banned. Haha. That'll push us back some, but hey what can you do when Patreon doesn't understand kink and twists your kinky arm. It's slower than projected, but I'm focusing on getting all of the linework of the animation out of the way first so I can just handle the coloring/shading afterwards. I'd like to see how that affects the pipeline of a project. I think finding people to help color won't be as difficult this time around. I've knocked out a number of shots already, even if I'm behind schedule some. Happy to say that I've already gotten some of the voicework out of the way, and I think it will really land.

Small note for Nyuru. I'm excited to say I have a more-SFW friendly Patreon on the sidelines for the scenario of Patreon going full Puritan. Nothing is happening to this one. Ideally I would have both accounts so that people have more options to support the cause. It's just in case they Nuke NSFW accounts.... Also people have been wanting to support the work, but haven't wanted to give their information that a NSFW account requires, so it'd be nice to give them an account to stay updated/support on. But I'll get into more detail with that as we get to that event. The watercolor/concepts for Nyuru are really coming along. I'm thoroughly pleased with where we're at. The goal is to get storyboards/animatic done by the end of the year so that it can start getting knocked out while I work on smaller projects in the foreground. What's nice about the physical art is that I can put that together for an Art of/Making of book later. So that's immensely invigorating. You guys should see the waterolors that are starting to take over my walls in my traditional medium room. Hahaha.

To keep the reading public at ease. It may seem like a lot of work to juggle this many projects, but I find the opposite. If you overlay them like this, you can plan the releases a lot easier. It keeps, me at least, from being at the end of a project and spinning in front of a new project. I find this method a lot smoother, and less concerning.
