Like its pre-evolution, Sandslash captures its prey by traps using fruit, and takes a long time to digest them completely, however Sandslash uses a technique on its prey which is to curl itself into a spiny ball to crush whatever it eats, making the somewhat faster process plus it almost completely nullifies the struggles the prey can make to influence sandslash's stomach to vomit them up
