Hello Patrons! 🧡

Here’s my latest painting! I had so much fun painting this! 🥹🥹 It felt so long since I took the time to get lost in the concept and details of a background. I had so much fun trying to create architectural elements that would fit into this cozy village surrounded by dragons. 🐉🧡

Here’s the references I used:

The idea for this painting is humans and dragons cohabit in this village together. The streets are enveloped by a wispy fog and illuminated by shop displays. While the weather is always gloomy, the people and dragons will always make you feel at home. ✨

In this painting, I want to challenge myself with the perspective and depth of the painting. I want to make the place seem more so I added people in the background to make the place seem more believable while still maintaining the fantastical and whimsical atmosphere. 😊

I mostly used Lynn Chen’s brushes for this piece! I really liked using these brushes in particular:
