I've uploaded the timelapse videos and attached the Photoshop process for this painting!

Lately, with the news of AI, I've been feeling a little discouraged with art.   When you see these images produced within seconds, you question your role as an artist. 

I l love the process of making art, and that's something they can't take away from me. I love thinking of ideas, creating sketches, and concepts, figuring out the lighting, and everything! So I will continue doing this no matter what! 

When I created this piece, I embraced the process of creating a story within the painting. 

One of my inspirations for this piece is the idea of a studio and thinking of a character behind their work 

I was also very inspired by romance novels lately. I recently read "May in Another Life" by TJR. It's quite an enjoyable read so I wanted to include some themes of longing and romance in this painting. ✨

With the painting style, I've been inspired by the art of Princess and the Frog, so I wanted to emulate that style in the piece. 🥰

I really enjoyed creating this painting! I will put a poll up soon to help me decide which theme I should do next 😊!
