Little Red Riding Hood finds adventure that lies between the pages of each book in a mysterious library 📚🐺

Hello Patrons! 🤎

I went back to one of my older concepts and worked on this concept a bit more! I’ve been trying to push my lighting and colours and wanted to tackle using a more muted palette. 🤎

I also played around with the idea of combining Dark Academia with Woodland fantasy. 📜✒️ I think I went a little overboard by adding the small details that relate to woodland plants and fungi. 🪵🍄 I didn’t realize how much I miss doing some linework so I mindlessly ended up adding more and more details. 😅

I spent a lot of time trying to refine the architecture so I took a lot of inspiration from Art Nouveau and Classical design. A lot of my inspiration for this piece is also derived from JC Leyendecker's infamous style which explains the sharp edges and yellow muted palette.

I know it’s a little different from my other pieces but lately, I’ve been having lots of fun trying new things! Let me know what you think! 😊

With every stage I find myself thinking yes that’s perfect I don’t know what else I could do with that and then you add another element or take something away and it’s like of course that makes so much sense! You have such an amazing eye for detail and atmosphere😍
