Hi Patrons! ✨

I finished painting "Thoughts"! In this painting, I wanted to capture a foggy scene and the feeling of getting wrapped up in your thoughts. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the future so I wanted to capture that!

Usually, when I can't find a specific pose reference I end up taking the photo myself. I really love the foggy landscape and I knew I wanted to paint it and add my own interpretation to it. Originally, I wanted to create dramatic clouds but funnily enough, one evening my boyfriend saw me painting the clouds and he thought I was painting waves so I thought it was so brilliant to combine both. I think the combination of sea and fog is quite nice and reminds me of my favourite romantic paintings, Wanderer above the Sea and Fog by Caspar David Friedrich. Let me know what you think!
