Beloved Night 🧚✨ - Process (Patreon)

Happy Friday Patrons! 

Here's the finished illustration of "Beloved Night"! I wanted to paint a fairy that would spread wishes to homes at night. 🧚

"May your sweet dreams carry you through the night"

This painting was definitely quite a challenge since I tried so hard to stay away from oranges and pinks which definitely failed since I managed to squeeze it in there 😅I was very much inspired by the late illustrator, John Bauer! That's why the first sketch is very reminiscent of their painting of Princess Tauvstarr.

I also took inspiration from Disney's Fantasia and the mermaid scene in Peter Pan! I had to refer to those colours since they were so bright and pastel-like so I wanted to capture the same essence but using the colour palette I have!

 I've posted this in my Stories, but I am going to make a vlog of packing the mail rewards tomorrow!! So excited to mail it to you guys! I'm quite nervous filming a vlog since I'm still trying to get used to having a camera in front of me! 😅
