Thought I would give a bit of an update. Like I said at the beginning of the summer, I didn't have access to my desktop, and wasn't able to make VaM content. I was living out of my car for a while, and couldn't even use my laptop most of the time. A couple weeks ago I was able to get a day job and be able to afford to get into temporary housing at uni while I waited for my apartment to be ready, but I still didn't have my desktop. My desktop is considerably more powerful than my laptop and has all of my VaM files on it. So I wasn't able to do VaM stuff and didn't have any files to work on any games or anything. Everything is still deep in a storage unit. Since I couldn't do any work on current projects, I decided to take the time to start learning Blender, something I've wanted to do for a while, and will be using once I take 3D animation next semester anyway. I figured I could get ahead a bit, and hopefully be able to learn more advanced functions once I take the actual class. I've still got quite a bit to learn, but I've got the basics down and I've been able to put together a couple of animations that I'll be sharing in separate posts as soon as I can. My laptop takes forever to render anything. Every frame takes about 8 minutes, so for a 60 fps animation, that's about 8 hours for 1 second. That's an average though. I did a 15 second animation that I'll be posting soon, that took about 144 hours, or 6 days, to render.

Next update is that there's a big change coming. I now have even more projects running all at once.  I have VaM content, games, colorings, and now Blender animations. In order to streamline things and keep them from getting too confusing, I'll be making separate Patreons for each of these. This one has been primarily known for VaM content, so this will be VaM content. Then I'll make a separate one for games, and a separate one for blender animations. As I finish game projects, I'm not going to be starting any new ones though. Not until I'm down to just one. I've never really gotten support for colorings, even when I was making a new one every week, so those will just be something I do for fun when I feel like it, and will just be posted on Twitter.

The point of separating all of these things is to prevent confusion in the patreon tiers, and to give people the option to only support the content they want, when they want. For example, if I'm doing a lot of work on Blender animations, and not much on VaM, I'll let everyone in the VaM patreon know, so that they can unsub until I post more content. I've always wanted to be as up front as possible with people, and I will continue to do so.

I still have a little over a week until I move into my apartment, and then my next semester of uni starts a couple days later. I'll be focusing on creating the new patreon setups and rendering out the animations I made first. Then with classes starting, I'll just have less time for personal projects. So VaM content specifically will continue to be slow, but VaM will continue to be my top priority, as it's always gotten the most support. I'll be returning to regularly posting VaM content next month, with at least two updates a month. I'm going to try and focus on creating more scenes, but it really just depends on how much time I have.

Lastly, I'll be posting some new VaM content by the end of the month for those that have stuck around, because all of your support has been an immense help and I don't want this month to be a waste, if you don't like animations.

That's all for now. I really can't stress this enough, but thank you to everyone who gave their support this summer.
