OKAY SO a reaction to your reaction a) umu: i'm getting ooooold me: *atomises into dust a la rasputin* b) i thought it was super neat that there was that one piano note at the end of the MV ... it's not the same pitch as the sincerity opening G but I like to think of it as a connector anyway c) YESSSS CELLO it's even more prominent in the live clip (which I hope you've listened to??) it's so great and the tone of that cello in particular is so beautiful. d) speaking of live clips, what you imagine for writer in a love story is so accurate to the live clip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IijVdNt7GPk) which I'll just leave a link to here in case you have been too busy to watch it. can't wait for the rest of your reaction! /o/ you guys haven't even got to my favourite tracks off the album yet & I'm so excited to hear what you have to say.
