Testing my K-Pop knowledge while speaking my mind on the new reactors and RTTK’s future

whoops lol I should have watched this vid before leaving my comment on the other one - now I feel like I've inadvertently added on to the pile of Orbits clamouring for a PTT reaction lmao. I do think the South Asian influence is worth discussing although maybe the similarity to First makes for too much overlap. also, I think your judgement is good enough to know what a tasteful amount of clout chasing is! releasing Lalisa and Thunderous right away was definitely a good move imo and it's not like the other reactions aren't ever gonna come out.

Hi Umu, Definitely don't be shy or feel like a sell out for chasing clout. As much as everyone (including me) wants to think we can go our own way there is a reason it is the established way to move forward. Get that bag, as the kids say, we will support it. Also as far as kpop songs starting to feel old and tired there is a new release, Billlie - RING x RING, that really stands out to me. It's a sound I have never heard in kpop before. It's a debut from Mystic River (SM has majority of shares) and were produced by Lee Min-Soo (Brown Eyed Girls, IU). It's either a hate or love it song from what I have seen and it may not be that interesting musically (dunno anything about that, that's why I subscribe to you, lol) but the song structure is definitely unique and one of the more aggressive GG songs I have ever heard and I stan Dreamcatcher and Everglow. Speaking of Everglow, I really hope you release the First reaction. Must be hard dealing with kpop fandoms. But it really seemed like Ladida clicked with a lot of reactors so that could be a good reason to follow up with this comeback? Regardless, thanks for keeping us updated on the channel and your thoughts, really interesting to see what's going through your head as a creator and entrepreneur, pretty inspiring! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your comment Matt! Ring x Ring is indeed musically interesting! Have already started showing it to the reactors 👍
