Soooo in this video I talk about loops a lot, in which I feel like I did not choose the write words to describe why I kept complaining about them. Loops are used in the majority of pop songs. There's no denying that there are many songs that I love and find interesting that rely heavily on loops. The reason why I was so upset every time a song featured a lot of loops in this video, is because sometimes pop songs feature the same looped instrumentals in every single section of the song, and change nothing about it (aka effects to change timbre) or around it (change of texture, thickness, style, feel, etc) when the new section arrives. This gives the reactors on my channel nothing new to comment on as the song carries on. When choosing to show songs for CMR Season 5, songs that are repetitive in the sense where they rely so heavily on a repeated progression and instrumental (that aren't wildly different from what we heard before), goes on the will not react to list.
