also umu! joochan actually learned to play this piece by ear, because the boy doesnt know how to read music notes 😂 so maybe thats why it doesnt sound exactly as it should? idk if it changes anything but just wanted to share hahaha

Huh! Then is it not true that he was part of a youth orchestra? Maybe Korea runs their YOs different than in the US/UK, but it’s a requirement to know how to read sheet music to be in an orchestra for us 🤔

ness really thought this was live, attacking people who said it was prerecorded and even contestants. 🥴 I guess they are equating saying that this isnt live to "he cant actually play it".

I guess to conclude, he really learnt the piece, at least the first variation part, and played it live in the show but the sound of his violin was not amplified and a pre-recorded sound used instead. He use his own fingering interpretation, since he may not have a formal lesson to prepare for this. Definitely should be able to read music notes, maybe not that well, but there was sth lost in translation in regards of that.

Joochan can play the piece he did a vlive where he played the piece and there is a compilation of him practicing it so yes he can play the piece and I think he did his best to play it live but obviously he wasn't miced
