Great to hear your "crazed" choked-laughter again during the second Nature song U-pup! The initial piano/keyboard riff sounds like a "dumb-downed" version of a montuno (maybe a salsa one called a tumbao) The very basic form of this ostonato in both rhythm and phrase is elaborated on, almost endlessly to fit a ton of Latin styles.
