"The Three Amigos" is a 1986 screwball comedy starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Chevy Chase. This is the 2nd time they've referenced how bad that movie is. They also mentioned it in the Grab That Dough episode. This episode contains one of my favorite lines... "I've just been thrown out of an unauthorized Elvis fan club. I'll try to pick up the pieces and go on with my life". Oh, and I love when that caterer calls Dorothy "Stretch". He also calls Blanche Anita Bryant. Anita Bryant was was an American household name before she made headlines for her anti-gay political activism. She was the winner of Miss Tulsa in 1957, a runner-up for Miss America in 1960, and the spokesperson for Florida Orange Juice. She was also a pop singer, and performed at the halftime show of Super Bowl V in 1971. After the backlash against her, she faded into relative obscurity, but not before being hit in the face with a pie while speaking at an event in Iowa to promote her campaign to roll back anti-discrimination laws.
