Hi fam!

We have another episode of Star Trek TOS today. This week we are watching This Side Of Paradise. This was a crazy episode! I love how this season keeps bringing back the idea that in order to have a good "human" experience, one needs the good and the bad. This was well demonstrated in this episode. We saw how the spores gave infected people a sense of peace and contentment, while stripping their need for advancements, and their drive. Although it seemed like paradise, it was complacency, which doesn't help mankind strive, which in turn doesn't allow them to truly live. I swear, this show has so many teachable life moments, it's bonkers...IN THE BEST WAY!

Oh and one more thing... I loved seeing Spock so happy! 😁😢
