We are back with another The Golden Girls reaction. Today, we are watching Foreign Exchange. This episode was a mind F! Sophia's old friends come to Miami for a visit and bring with them INSANE NEWS! Apparently, their daughter and Dorothy were switched at birth! That would mean that Sophia is NOT Dorothy's mom! Oye!!! What a kerfuffle! Also, in this episode, we see Blanche and Rose dirty dancing!

What a fun episode! I can't wait for your thoughts on this!

Every episode doesn't have to have a happy ending or all questions answered. It wouldn't make a difference to me if Sophia was Dorothy's natural mother or not because of their bond together. I like that the writers left the issue really unanswered. I enjoyed this episode.

That's where I ended up too. Ultimately, Dorothy will always be Sophia's daughter regardless of the DNA test. Their shared experiences is what built their relationship, not DNA.

If you didn't know, Philomena Basco is played by Nan Martin. She also played the mean old woman, Freida Claxton in "It's a Miserable Life" and died right there before city councle while supporting the tree be cut down! Rose killed her, ya know? lol :) :) :)
