Development Update - 25.07.2021 (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

We’re glad to welcome all of the new Patrons in our community! 😄

We’re really happy that we manage to reach the goal of 50 Patrons 😊 As we promised from now on we are going to spend even more time on working on our game.

Because of that I came up with the idea of making a new goal - after reaching 100 Patrons I’ll buy a second, better graphic card to work on the scenes on one computer and render images on the other. 

Right now I have only a GTX 1060 on my second computer so I don’t use it for work. On my workstation I have a 2070 Super so I would really like to change this card with a new one and put my 2070 Super in my second computer. Most of you probably know what is the situation on the market right now, especially looking at graphic cards, it’s not a very good time for buying a new card. That's why I abstained from it till now. After seeing such interest in our game I’ll be sure that no matter the price - I need to buy a new card to make things faster and better 😄

It was a long introduction but let’s move to the development update. As I told you before the release of The Best Days in Our Lives 0.3 I planned to go on my vacation for a while. I just got back and from today I started working on Chapter 4. 

Everything from the “story” side is ready. During my vacation, me and the writer were discussing about making some changes and adding more “choices” to the game etc. And because of those changes and such a long time spent on developing this Chapter - it turns out it will be the biggest and full of content update since the beginning of The Best Days in Our Lives. 

Because of that we have to face the fact that the production of Chapter 4 will take longer than the other updates but after the release we are hoping that you’ll say that the waiting was worth it 😊

We are really ahead with story work with future updates so my job is to keep it up and make the text alive using images. In terms of the script, we've started planning for the second major phase of the game and a lot of really fun stuff is about to happen once the game gets into that. So nothing left to say, just stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed that all goes as planned and the update will be out there as soon as possible 😄

There will be two more posts today - Between The Days Poll for Friends and higher Patrons (5$+) and one, maybe more a surprise for you all, maybe just an information, but…
