Hey bored, thanks for your user.cfg file. I've used the Performance one with great FPS success for my old machine (around 30fps) with no lag spikes. However, when I use the essential user.cfg, I still get serious lag spikes. I've not analyzed the differences but I will tomorrow. I did have one question I'm hoping you can help me with. Using the performance config, the graphics take a hit, I get that and it's a small sacrifice. But, the graphics on the airlock signs in Port O are washed out so, humorously, I can't see which strut I'm on until I spawn a ship. I don't have this problem using the essential config file. Again, I haven't compared the 2 files yet, but I was hoping you might be able to point me in a direction. I have an I7 3960 (I think), 16 gb and a GTX690. Any idea which setting in the performance config may be tweaked to allow me to see those signs? I haven't tweaked anything else. Thanks for your hard work in making SC an enjoyable experience for all of us!
