Hellicott City, a five-minute haunted hayride through a remake of Old Ellicott City. The game was created for a local Halloween art show, and does a great job of frightening the player with bizarre characters that wave, stumble and fly towards the player. It begins with the player laying in bed; above them floats an in-game message that instructs how to reset the camera view or begin the experience. After starting the game, the player finds themselves sitting in a rickety cart as it makes its way through a haunted town, but before long they’ll be rolling through a zombie-filled graveyard and eventually along a blood-soaked highway; picking up speed the entire time until the game is basically a manic roller coaster.
