Arena Commander 1.0 what can we expect? The idea here is to get most single seat ships flyable with their base models & get as many bugs and improvements made as possible. We are going to see game improvements in the form of a Graphics & frame rate improvements Better optimised for a variety of hardware / hopefully this will mean quicker loading times. In game fixes to crashes, bugs, rebalancing of weapons & improvements to HUDs & how ships fly, leader boards sortable & with greater information. One of the big improvements is that they using a new method to predict movement in multiplayer – this should improve network traffic for further speed and streamlining! So we will be seeing load of new weapons & ship parts for AC 1.0 too We are going to see less confusing items and systems in the outfitting screens, they will be standising size formats for systems – tho this may not be fully implemented in 1.0 they will definitely keeping it in mind Gameplay Mechanics / Changes EMS – Emissions Management & Signature Concealment – This will be a mixture of stealth mechanics, so you could hide behind asteroids or try to avoid/tank missiles Advanced Power Management / Ship Interaction – So you are based on your Powerplant be able to have a lot more control over you power allocation Missile & Countermeasure vast improvements – New Guidance & Targeting systems, new Countermeasures & ways of delaying / breaking missile locks Map Improvements Increasing map sizes, making them look prettier with better assets & materials aswell as improving lighting We're also going to see improvements to the Spectator and Cinematic Cameras as well as better collision detection.
