Star Citizen Ship Weapon Types - Arena Commander 1.0
We take a look at the different weapon types that are currently available in Star Citizen, Arena Commander 1.0. Not to be confused with weapon classes:
Ballistic - Great against armour an hulls / Static Ammo you need to remember to equip, auto reload with any ammo available. Once it's out its out.
Powder Cannon - High Damage, Average Fire – Longsword 9s
Repeaters - Tri-Med Fire / Low - Med Damage - Sawbuck
Gatling - Fast Fire - Low Damage – Mantis GT220
Mass Driver Cannon - Massive Damage, Slow – Sledge II
Energy - Typically good against shields / 100% based ammo, each shot take a %, & it will recharge over time
Laser Repeater - Low Damage, Fast Fire - Bulldog
Laser Cannons - Slow Fire, Good Damage – M4A
Distortion Cannons - Power & Shield Drain - High Damage against shields – Suckerpunch – Minimal to Armour
Neutron Cannons - Slow Fire Mass Damage - NN-13
Missiles – Attach to missile racks
All missiles will have at least one of the following attributes
EM / IR / Dumb / FaF no full lock - quick fire, easy to evade / Proximity / Cluster
Rockets
Dumb fire, medium damage - lots of ammo
Utility
Tractor Beam
