vorpX Pre-Game Setup - These Settings will help you get setup for playing a variety of Games on The Oculus Rift using vorpX - For Specific Games please check out the VRProject & VRGames on our Channel. Turn on Your Oculus & Put it into Extended Mode Right Click the OCulus Icon in the bottom Right of the taskbar Select Rift Display Mode Select Extend Desktop to HMD & Apply Right Click Your Desktop & Align any screens you have Diagnially to each other like this, This will help stop some issues with the mouse cursor wondering outside a game while you are playing IMPORTANT - SOME OCULUS GAME WILL ONLY WORK AS THE MAIN DISPLAY to change the Oculus to Main Display click the moitor it corrosponds to & click Make this my Main Display If you are having problems with Icons & interacting with your PC / Desktop then move your task bar to your other monitor. Right click the task bar and make sure it is not locked, then drag it to where it is comfortable for you. Run the Start vorpX Shortcut Right Click vorpX in the taskbar, Click configure vorpX In General set your Oculus Device, Lens Cups, IPD if you know it. Do Not Use an Oculus Profile as it can cause bugs Disable Areo on game Start Display/Monitors - Show on your Oculus Device Other Options, Just have Enable Head Tracking Ticked. Click Excluded Programs Exclude anything that isn't a game or might try to hook your mouse, video or audio that you do not want to play with the Oculus.
