Star Citizen Flight Manual Target Focus Activating Target Focus Your character looks at current target and attempts to keep the target in your field of view. Once the target has moved out of the field of view, the normal head look will reactivate, if you are able to get the target back in view within 3 seconds the target will be refocused. If the target is destroyed or a new target is selected within 3 seconds then the Target focus will change to the new target if possible. Target Focus can help you keep track of an enemy ship & aid your aiming quite significantly, it will also automatically zoom if the target is a long distance from you. Press L Keyboard / Button 11 (Joystick) or R3 Gamepad to toggle Target Focus Target focus can make a chaotic dogfight, into a much simpler focused combat. Gimbals & fixed mounts react differently to Target focus. Be sure to experiment in the Simulator with Target Focus with different ships and loadouts.
