The dam has broken. After paving the way just last week, Microsoft has confirmed its four games that are coming to PlayStation platforms, and they're arriving a lot sooner than any of us thought. One of them -- Pentiment -- is available on PS4 and PS5 alike right now, while Hi-Fi Rush isn't far behind. Multiplayer titles Grounded and Sea of Thieves will round things out, but certainly, this is just the beginning of the migration, right? Other news this week includes the release date for Elden Ring's long-awaited expansion, percolating PS5 Pro rumors suggesting a fall release, the beginning of Jim Ryan's goodbye tour, PSVR2's PC future, and much more. I get why Chris is bullish on Halo coming to Playstation soon but I really feel like that will be one of the last or one of the few Xbox exclusive franchises that will stay that way. Xbox arguably only exists because of Halo, it would be a weird move to put the franchise that is the reason for your box existing on the competitor's system. The guy comparing Nintendo to Sony on remakes IS in fact nuts. No one played the Wii U so re-releasing all those games gives a much larger population the chance to experience some awesome games that went missed by most. At the same time they've still managed to constantly pump out new & innovative games for the Switch at the same time. Sony just keeps "remaking" games that are barely a decade old and have next to no 1st party games exclusive for this generation. Relying on 3rd party hits & milking the same handful of IPs for all they're worth with minimal effort. It's a different & more grimey imo. Nintendo has it's problems but that's not one

Colin — it’s taken me TWELVE attempts at Dark Souls 3 over 1.5 years on and off, and this week it finally clicked. Not exaggerating. I was definitely not a ‘Souls’ player. I’ve learnt this: the first hour of these games is awful. Dark, hard, dull. I’m not totally and utterly in love with DS3, five hours in. It probably is your type of game, like a 3d Metroid. Castles, shortcuts, intertwined levels. Just be really, really patient.

I just wanted to chime in that Pinkerton *is* better than the blue album, that's from someone that didn't get into Pinkerton until 10 years after getting into the blue album. Nothing on blue can stand up to Pink Triangle or Falling for You.
