Mama Moriarty Joins the Chat | Knockback, Episode 276

For our 'holiday' episode of KnockBack this year, we thought we'd do something special. As such, please welcome our mom to the show, BettyAnn Moriarty. The reality is this: Our mother comes up on the show constantly. In fact, if you guys are on social media, you may even interact with her. Needless to say, she's one of the most special people in our lives, and thus, we thought we'd take some time to reminisce, tell some old stories, ask probing questions about the past, and add to the extensive tome of Moriarty lore that we can all probably agree is already a little too long. Without further ado, please enjoy. And Happy New Year!

It's not too far off midnight here in the UK as Christmas day draws to a close, and ending my night watching this wonderful podcast. Most of the family together is a lovely and entertaining, and also informative gathering which is something that is missing from my life. I am a little older than Dagan (And hitting 50 does get easier over time) and my wiife is my family and my friend all tied together in a strong bond. Thanks Colin, Dagan and Mama M for a truly welcoming conversation. Merry Christmas.

Dude, this episode rules. I love when you guys get the rest of the family on the show. It's a shame Dana is so against it. I hope it changes in the future. Much love to the Moriarty's!

Thanks for spending some time with us on this Christmas Day. We appreciate it. And having a life partner that is also a friend is the greatest blessing in the world. ❤️🎄 Merry Christmas!

Definitely relate to your family, Colin. There's four siblings in my family (2 boys and 2 girls), parents are divorced, and my youngest sibling (brother) is 9 years younger than me. I think my mom definitely feels similar to yours as well as she also misses the days when we were all kids. This was such a nice change of pace to listen to and I enjoy hearing stories of your family as I can definitely relate to a lot of what you have been through. Good call on having your mom join an episode. I pray that your family has a wonderful new year. Cheers.
