Please welcome to the show, Billy Martin! Billy is an accomplished comic book artist, composer, and the guitarist of the acclaimed pop-punk band Good Charlotte. One thing you may not know about Billy, though, is that he also loves video games! After Billy and I (Dustin) got acquainted a few months back, I knew I needed to pick his brain a bit. So, in this conversation, we cover everything from touring and being in Good Charlotte to successfully charting another course as a comic book artist, and the continual hustle to break into the video game music composition space. This is primarily a video game show, so we also discuss what it was like having Good Charlotte songs in various video games, gaming on the road, Billy’s current tastes, and how games like Elden Ring inspired him to try composing in the industry.
