Hey Fam,

I wanted to reach out to you guys and gals to briefly let you know what's happening this week, and into early next week, just in case I'm less engaged than usual.

This coming weekend (and into early next week), Erin and I are moving to Santa Monica. So this week, I have to pack. I'm a minimalist by nature, and I pride myself on not having a lot of worldly possessions, but still, I haven't moved in seven years, so things stack up. Hundreds of books, video games, memorabilia, some furniture, TV, clothing, and on and on and on. I have a lot to go through, pack, and (hopefully) get rid of, too.

I pride myself on being super-engaged not only here on Patreon, but in the YouTube comments, on Reddit, Facebook, et cetera. This week may be just a little different, because I really have to focus on getting all of this shit done. So while you'll still get your News Burst tomorrow (Tuesday), Wednesday, and Friday, and while you'll get all-new videos on Thursday and Monday, you may notice me hanging around here, the YouTube comments, and social media a little less. I apologize in advance about that. I'm going to do my best to see that there's no noticeable difference at all, but time is of the essence right now!

While I have your attention, I wanted to make a few notes:

1.) I've sent out four of the five "batches" of postcards for $50+/month March supporters, and the fifth and final batch will go out Wednesday-ish. People have been Tweeting at me their postcards, so they're starting to arrive. Keep an eye on your mailboxes!

2.) Some folks have been inquiring why their names aren't in the credits even though they're at the $25+/month level. Dagan and I missed a few people, but it seems that most people asking actually pledged in April, meaning their names will be in May's credits, and so on and so forth. Remember that, for the postcards, credits, and thank you videos, the month previous is what counts. So, if you were at that level in March, you'll see your name in the credits in April, or get your postcard in April, or whatever else. I know that can be confusing to some folks, so I want to make sure everyone understands.

You don't get charged until early the month after you pledge, so it's simply a way to make sure no one games the system. Once your payment is processed for the previous month, your "prize," as it were, goes into affect that following month. So all names from April should be in the credits by May 5th, which will be the same for the following month, and so on. I'm sorry I didn't make that clearer, for anyone still confused.

I hope you all have a fantastic week, and that you're enjoying the content so far. It's really a great honor to have you all here with me, and I thank you for having the faith in me to take this journey alongside me.

Take care, -Colin

I appreciate how much you care about Colin's Last Stand and it's supporters. Keep on doing you Colin, because the man you are right now represents the one we should all strive to be more like.

Good luck with the moving!

Have a safe move and give Greg a hug. I have a feeling he is going to be very emotional and there is nothing wrong with that.

Good luck man, moving 7 years worth of life can't be easy. Will you eventually be making a studio? Obviously when you are settled in and have to to do it of course. Can't wait to catch up on the content this weekend. Keep up the good work.

Moving is the worst part good luck man! We will still be here when you get settled it.

Christopher Lee

Best of luck on the move!! I'm happy for you guys!!

Dan Phillips

Good luck moving. Man do I hate doing that. I'm less of a minimalist than you so things have accumulated. Quick question. I noticed in the last video your bookshelves behind you. I can make out some of the titles on your shelves but not others. I'd love to know what books you have that you cherish enough not to get rid of. Maybe in the future you can give us a list of books in your 'library' for those of us who might be curious. Take care Colin.

Joey Finelli

I am excited to be part of this adventure. Lead the way!

Love it man! Take care of you and Erin first! We'll still be here. Always...

Good luck with the move! Moving sucks, and is considered one of the most stressful things ever for a reason. No matter how minimalist we think we are, there's always way more than we wanted to deal with and it can stir up a lot of old things (and memories).

Scott Rabideau

Focus on moving man; it's a difficult and annoying process, and I wouldn't want you to feel pressured. I wouldn't even be mad about a lack of news bursts this week. But I know you want to deliver the goods, so I won't begrudge you either way!

You do you boo boo. Moving is stressful, do it right we'll be here!

Good luck with the move, bud. After speaking with you last night- I wish even more that I were there to help you guys. But the change is 'right' for you both and is going to be fantastic once you're settled in. I love you. Kisses and love to Erin and Lolita too, of course. ❤️😘

Good luck with the move! 😉I just went through it last month when I purchased my first home. It's amazing how much stuff can accumulate in an apartment. You never really know how much excess you have until you are packing it all up. We donated over 25 bags of clothes plus boxes of other household excess. It feels good to shed the junk. There's a great Minimalism documentary on Netflix if anyone is interested. It brings up many good points. Take care! 🙂

Good luck on the move Colin

Colin, we understand you've got big changes in your life right now. If you need to interact a little less, it's not because you want to, but because you need to. So do that and don't kill yourself with stress and anxiety.

thanks for the notice, I usually move every year, its a good opportunity to clean yourself of things you don't use anymore, enjoy the process. Also just wanted to say I've been a fan since Beyond and really like this new path your taking, for the topics for Colins last stand, I understand that you are more familiar with US news and politics, though, I really appreciate having more "worldly" topics, like the one you did for North Korea, I'm currently reading about Attila and the huns, and find it very interesting, how they are mostly portrait as barbarians but had a lot of culture and strategy in what they did, jaja, just mentioning because to be honest your take on history and politics has made me interested in history as well, and like you say, I don't always agree with you, but really appreciate your open position and will to make people think. really think, and have conversations. Thanks and regards. !Beyond! :D

Glad you got it! Gotta bang out the rest of those tonight. Moving has put me behind schedule...

Thank you! I want to do something about the French election, but it'll likely be after it's all said and done. I'll do my best to touch on non-US issues.
