An Examination of The Light in the Darkness: A Game About the Holocaust | Sacred Symbols+, Ep. 305

Please welcome seasoned game dev Luc Bernard back to Sacred+. Luc first appeared on our show back in 2021 (Episode #126) to discuss his upcoming game concerning an unusual topic for our sphere: The Holocaust. Originally aimed for launch in 2022, it just recently launched for free on PlayStation 5 and PC, and -- as promised -- I invited him back to the show to discuss it in great detail. The Light in the Darkness costs only an hour of your time, that's it. Indeed, the person who made it funded it out of his own pocket and asks you for nothing in return. What you receive from that hour will vary, of course, but something tells me most who play The Light in the Darkness will be deeply touched by it. We spoil the game completely within the confines of this podcast, and we talk unabashedly about history and politics, too. You've been warned on all fronts. For those with an open mind and an eagerness to experience new things: Enjoy.

Thank you for covering this. I'm a huge history buff, WW2 especially. This is definitely something I want to check out.

Thank you Colin and Luc, I really, really enjoyed the conversation around this game. I'm not sure if looking forward is the right phrase but I'm very interested into looking into this.

Reading the "post free for all" comments is seriously sickening.
