Is Xbox Launching A NEW Console In 2024? | Defining Duke, Episode 116

Xbox and PlayStation may have their differences, but they admittedly stay at the same pace when it comes to the release of new hardware. Outlet Insider Gaming has reported a "PS5 Pro" of sorts is inbound by the end of 2024 and naturally our audience has inquired if Xbox can expect much of the same. The report also says that the next generation involving the PlayStation 6 aims to begin in 2028. With Cloud Gaming being such a vital part of their plan moving, is Xbox thinking the same thing? The Dukes share their thoughts. Plus, Starfield has an R18+ rating in Australia, High On Life is getting DLC, Shin Megami Tensei may be making its way to Xbox, and Game Pass continues its quality over quantity focus. Xbox Series xXx - Powered by Vin Diesel

I have both consoles, but I’d be more inclined to upgrade my ps5 before the Xbox.

I would like a Series X Pro or Slim just to have an excuse to upgrade my Series S. Then I can also turn my Series S into a Game Cube machine.

As for Mirrors Edge, EA almost immediately retracted their statement, basically said oops we didn’t mean that one. That was 2+ days ago so must have just missed your podcast. I also am not sure, why you both missed the D4 beta news, which has been known for quite a long time. Last weekend was not open, only pre-orders. This weekend it’s truly open and you can play all 5 classes. I’m sure the server issues we saw last weekend will seem like paradise 🤣🤣 Sorry for being the picker of bots, love you guys

Much respect for both of you #DDPro

I didn't watch The Wire till last year so I only knew and grew to love Lance from Bosch and John Wick besides the games you guys mentioned

I'd buy the Series X Elite day 1 if Microsoft puts one out; but I also don't think we are in need of a mid gen refresh like we were in the previous generation. The widespread adoption of 4K TVs was a big driver last time, plus the Xbox One was already underpowered.

Going on a drive to clear your head is one of the most mind-boggling things I can imagine. I can't stand driving and I really mean it: I ride a bicycle everywhere and it is immensely "head-clearing" for me every time. More people need to take a bike every now and then. Screw cars they suck and everyone knows it but nobody wants to admit it.
