We're in the throes of the 2023 season, and it's time once again to consult the charts. (Remember! This month, we try to make sense of an increasingly hectic situation. Hogwarts Legacy is obviously going to dominate, but how will Atomic Heart fare? How about Like A Dragon: Ishin! and Wild Hearts? And just where did CD Projekt's games go?! It's a close game in these early days of the 2023 season, so come hang, play along, and enjoy at your leisure.

The Gears Ultimate edition isn’t very good. And if you guys continue in the series past that might be better for visual continuity to just play the original version. Pretty sure they are all 4K/60.

When the Gears of War Remake released originally I think it came with a code to download the rest of the Gears of War series for free with the first printings of the game or if you bought it digitally within the first 6 months or so. I also think they did a similar thing when Gears of War 4 released. That's probably what you were thinking of at the end of the show.

I think Hogwarts Legacy is going to chart high all year, like LEGO Star Wars did. I know this is a safe bet. Maybe 3rd highest this year after COD and Spider-Man 2.

I would pick Call of the Mountain like Chris did, however most people who are going to buy it will probably just get the bundle with their system. Not sure if that will count as a digital sale even if it is being redeemed from a code

Seems to be the biggest urban myth in gaming that Yakuza has any mainstream popularity. Yakuza 6 was the biggest launch and only debuted at 17th on NPD. I'd be very surprised if Ishin came in at 12. Loving this series anyway Colin 😁

Yeah I got Gears 1-3 and Judgement for free with my purchase of Gears 4. It was great because now I have the games on disc and digital.
