Halo Infinite Is In Trouble - Is It Time For Change? | Defining Duke Ultimate Episode 84

Hot on the heels of our 87th episode for Defining Duke, the gaming industry set ablaze as 343 announced another setback to Halo Infinite. Many are out for blood and saying that the studio isn't cut out for the task of handling what is currently Xbox's flagship IP any longer. Joining the Dukes is our very own @Chris Ray Gun along with Ains of @Seasoned Gaming to get into the meat and potatoes of what the hell is happening with this studio. For over a generation and then some, the team has consistently launched Halo games with caveats leading to endless discussions on the "potential" of what 343 can do. Well, four major releases later (not accounting for collaborations such as Halo Wars 2) and people are out of patience. Is it time for structural change? We go from top to bottom to decipher whether or not that's the correct answer.

I saw it too. Maybe they gave it for free or it was a mistake.

Best DDU so far! Excellent stuff Gents.

Vig Villain

Great episode!

I never like blaming devs but at this point it has to be partly a management and talent issue. As for spinoffs a 3rd person or tactical shooter and a survival horror game would be dope

Great episode all! Really liked the balanced perspective about Halo and the different insights.

Artful Escape has been in the service a year I can count on less than 2 hands the amount of games that did not do at least a year in Gamepass. People have more than enough time to play all these games and Xbox gives 3-4 week notice of when a game is leaving
