Xbox and Bethesda's partnership was destined to bear fruit in 2022. Now, that has been pushed back as it has been confirmed that Starfield and Redfall are now slated for the first half of 2023. To say this is catastrophic would be an understatement even if it means we receive better games at the end of the road. The showcase, the expectations, the holiday window, the shake-up of releases for 2023, the potential shotgun blast of those, and many more ramifications we likely won't know of until they hit. This marks Bethesda Game Studios' first true delay since Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in 2005 when it was, ironically, pushed back to Spring 2006 for the Xbox 360. Joining us is ColtEastwood to discuss the Xbox Everywhere initiative along with the newly announced Summer Games Fest showcase which presents a problem Xbox is much happier to have. That being, where do they slot in the numerous announcements and big reveals they have planned? If reports are to be believed, the spread has increased to three if you include Gamescom and offers the team the ability to spread the wealth. Problems both good and bad for the green machine have arrived and it's time for us alongside our lovely guest to discuss.

Not getting a sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy hurts my soul lol I love that game.

NerdyNate

Loved the show guys. Great job!

Hopefully Starfield doesn’t run into Breath of the Wild 2.

I literally got my Series X last week. This news sucks. Luckily I've never owned an Xbox, so I'm catching up on all their previous first-party titles, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm upset I won't get Starfield this fall.

I was in the same boat last year. I never owned any Xbox consoles before so I decided to buy a series x. At least we both get a chance to catch on the previous first party titles without feeling rushed before Starfield comes out this. lol

TheSilverLabGuy

Sad news, but my backlog can finally have me back!

No one is paying for the FIFA name at the price they're asking. This move for EA isn't about quality, it's about not paying a ridiculous amount of money for something of little value. EA dominance will continue as usual. As long as they have deals with the leagues, football fans will buy. No one wants to play a football game without their favourite team in it.

Seriously I think LSM needs to get the third chair filled with Colt. Such a great dude and if he has the time it would be a great DD trio.

Waited the whole Xbox One Generation for something to play from first party for single players. Bought 3 Xboxes One, S and X. This Generation I only buy a Xbox if they deliver something I’m interested in. So far there is nothing and it’s not looking pretty.

If people on Xbox want the fury dlc, go out and buy the game. If they sell 20,000 copies I bet they would put the dlc on Xbox. Most people who are mad about this probably haven’t even bought the game.

What's the name of the company that creates 3rd party collectors editions again? Thanks in advance.
